Point & Click Adventure
A point-and-click adventure from one manifest: walk a hero through painted scenes, look, take, use and talk with icon verbs, combine items and solve puzzles to reach the ending. Every thing is a glyph from a library of 412 (a key, a door, a lamp, a ghost), drawn in one look; rooms and landscapes are painted in code; the hero and the people are painted figures that walk and idle, and scale with depth. Leave the hero out and it plays in first person, each scene a view whose things act at once. The verbs come three ways (an icon bar, nine verbs with a sentence line, or one click that does the natural thing), with an inventory, speech bubbles, dialog trees with choices, code locks, hints, sound and saves in the viewer's browser. The solver proves the game can be won and the receipt names what no play reaches and where a player gets stuck; adventure.info gives the shortest walkthrough, and the kiosk layout plays it by itself. Ships empty on purpose.
